1953 - Secondary school in Sofia
1958 - Graduated in chemistry from the University of Sofia

1958	Junior Research Associate in the Department of Colloid and Interface Science, Institute of Physical Chemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
1969	Ph.D. in chemistry
1971	Senior Research Associate (in the same department)
1987	D.Sc. in Physical Chemistry
1988	Professor in Physical Chemistry (in the same department)
1983-2005	Head of Department of Colloid and Interface Science, Institute of Physical Chemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
1972-1995	Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Biology, University of Sofia
2004	Academician (Full Member) of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences

Scientific Activities:

Over 200 publications, including 12 review articles and 7 patents in the field of colloid and interface science: thin liquid films, interfaces, foams, surfactant solutions, complex fluids, biomedical applications. (see Thin liquid films group bibliography)
